4A Games will spend the intervening time polishing Metro Exodus, but it also seems that the studio is keen to give Red Dead Redemption 2 a wide berth, as many others have done.

The press release is worded rather interesting, with the PR noting that Deep Silver has been "keeping an eye" on the announcements from their competitors and monitoring the release windows for when other FPS games will launch.

One of our most anticipated games of 2018 will no longer be making an appearance in 2018.

Metro Exodus has been delayed into Q1 2019, publisher THQ Nordic has announced today. THQ Nordic acquired Deep Silver (a division of Koch Media) earlier this year. If you'd like to check out the series for yourself, players can experience the most up to date versions of the original two titles with Metro 2033 Redux and Metro Last Light Redux on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.

Inspired by the novels of Dmitry Glukhovsky, Metro Exodus continues Artyom's story in the greatest Metro adventure yet. "Therefore we've moved the release date to Q1 2019 We know this will be disappointing news for fans, but at E3 we will be revealing lots of new gameplay from a never before seen environment".

At THQ Nordic, I accumulated a rich portfolio, which is a sin not to brag on any game show, but the publisher made a decision to skip E3 2018 for football and beer.

DSOGaming is reporting that Deepsolver has announced that the upcoming Metro Exodus has been delayed until 2019. Wingefors confirmed that the label will also be publishing Wasteland 3 and Bard's Tale IV.
