  • Hashtag Trending – Facebook removes trending news, Apple’s upcoming WWDC18, BlackBerry’s new Key2 smartphone

The dual rear cameras here are rated at 12MP and 8MP while the front facing camera features an 8MP shooter.

If earlier rumours are to be believed, the incoming BlackBerry Key2 will also feature a 4.5in 1080x16020 touchscreen, 6GB RAM, 64GB built-in storage expandable up to 128GB via microSD, a 3,360mAh battery and Android 8.1.

BlackBerry has confirmed this by sending out official invites for the unveiling of BlackBerry KEY2. The new phone which was supposed to be announced later this week look like a refined version of the KeyOne, with a subdued gray and black appearance, fewer conspicuous holes and sensors, and perhaps even a slightly more spacious keyboard layout. Although there does not seem to be many changes in terms of design, the smartphone still shows significant innovations, such as the presence of the fingerprint sensor. As you might expect, there has already been some leaks about the Key2 that features BlackBerry's famous physical keyboard.

While BlackBerry Mobile prepares to take the wrappers off its KEY2 smartphone in NY on June 7, the company is also looking to host an event in China for a different unveiling in the Asian region. The BlackBerry KEY2 is seen sporting a dual-rear camera setup with an LED flash.

The BlackBerry Key2 will retain the company's physical keyboard, and there appears to be a mysterious new button at the bottom right of the keyboard next to the symbol key.

Connectivity options will include 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, NFC and USB 3.1 Type-C port. Specifically, the KEYone's Snapdragon 625 has been swapped out for an octa-core Snapdragon 660. The smartphone is seen sporting the notable QWERTY keypad. Would you be interested to buy one? That apart the device is expected to run Android Oreo. Just yesterday, a leak gave us an idea about how the handset will look like.
