Kyrie Irving says LeBron James deserved MVP

There is another heavy hitter they could pursue who has been to four All-Star games, has twice made the All-NBA 2nd team and has averaged 25.9 points, 11.9 rebounds and 4.2 assists per game the last four seasons.

"I don't think the Spurs are going to get that much for Kawhi - but maybe they would if that's what Philadelphia wanted to do". It's between two men. Many believe that the two players would like to play with each other.

James may have the ability to take over games from a scoring standpoint, but he has proven time and time again ready and willing to involve teammates into the flow of the action, even giving them chances at hitting game-winning jumpers. "Our main focus is just getting better, getting healthier". LeBron could reasonably decide that joining the Houston Rockets' two superstars on the team that nearly knocked off Golden State offers him his best chance to get a ring, in spite of the questionable fit both money-wise and style-wise. "It was a great moment, for sure". Both players still have to decide if they want to opt out of the final year of their respective contracts.

During an interview with Hot 97 NY on Wednesday, Boston Celtics guard Kyrie Irving talked about everything from getting traded from the Cleveland Cavaliers to preparing for his new Uncle Drew movie to why he thinks LeBron is the real MVP of the league. Thus perhaps it should not have been a surprise to see a report Wednesday indicating that James may bolt for Los Angeles and wait to see which other National Basketball Association star joins him there, quickly followed by another report claiming that the four-time MVP was "hesitant" to commit to the Lakers without assurance that the team had already landed some high-profile help.

Irving continued: "If we're talking strictly based off stats, like, he checks every mark".

Therefore, it seems as though there's very little potential for any negative drama to happen between the two moving forward.
