Residents in western Germany are being told to stay indoors after two lions, two tigers and a jaguar escaped from a zoo.
Several animals were freed from their cages by flooding at a western Germany zoo on Friday.
According to Sky News, it's unclear what circumstances lead to the bear's death.
A drone deployed to find the missing beasts - two lions, two tigers and a jaguar - finally located them within their caged areas, said regional authorities.
German media reports have suggested the animals' enclosures were damaged in a storm, after a river overflowed and damaged fences. At the zoo, which is located on a riverbank, the water was knee-high.
The Eifel zoo, owned by the Wallpott family, is home to around 400 animals, also including a Siberian tiger.

Most were found on the grounds of the zoo and returned to their cages.
Owned by the Wallpott family, the 30-hectare (74-acre) zoo is home to almost 400 animals of 60 species, including Siberian tigers and lions.
