That's according to Gunners legend Robert Pires, who believes the Spaniard will bring a wealth of success to north London.

Former Paris Saint-Germain boss Emery was unveiled as Arsenal's new head coach back in May following Arsene Wenger's decision to step down as manager at the Emirates.

"We signed the players who we needed and we will only sign a player in the next month if he is a big opportunity". "But for me, it's the same with the one player and the 25 players".

'He won in Spain.

Uruguay worldwide Lucas Torreira and teenager Matteo Guendouzi became Arsenal's latest arrivals last week, while long-serving midfielder Jack Wilshere left the club earlier this month to join league rivals West Ham United.

Well I don't think any Arsenal fans will be complaining about Unai Emery's first ever game in charge of our club as the Gunners ran out 8-0 winners in the friendly at Boreham Wood.

The club remain keen to add one further new star to their squad and are now being linked with the likes of Steven N'Zonzi, Andre Gomes and Kingsley Coman.

Iwobi will now hope to make an impact when Arsenal play against Atletico Madrid and PSG at Singapore National Stadium in the International Champions Cup.

Despite it being early days for Emery, he seems to be impressing not only the fans but the players to, as he prepares them for their first Premier League match against Manchester City on the 12th August.
