The situation in the Middle East erupted today, as Israel launched a "wide-scale attack" against terrorists in the Gaza Strip.
Israel has not officially confirmed that a truce is in effect, though it appears to have taken the position of halting strikes as long as Gazans stop attacks and provocations.
Israel has yet to confirm the agreement, but the army said in a statement on Saturday that communities near Gaza could return to normal activity, according to the Israeli daily Haaretz.
