Weather: Wednesday to see few morning showers

25 July, 2018, 21:03 | Author: Priscilla Morrison
  • There’s a chance of showers in the Boston area this morning with thunderstorms possible after 11 a.m

Mostly cloudy, then gradually becoming sunny, with a high near 89. Plan on highs in the low 90s. But now that it's here, we will be seeing potentially a lot of it this weekend.

CANON CITY: High - 91; Low - 63.

A cool front comes through Thursday and it will bring scattered rain and thundershowers in the afternoon. "There may be heavy downpours with some of the showers which may cause localized flooding".

Storms will first start developing in the mountains during the morning and midday hours, pushing east through the foothills and Denver metro area after 12-1 p.m.

MONDAY| Scattered rain and rumbles, otherwise partly/mostly cloudy.

The big weather story is the gradual cooling trend the next couple days in fact we may be in the 80s (low 90s warmest) all of next week.

Today: Mostly sunny and hot. We expect several complexes of storms to move from north to south into North Mississippi overnight tonight. Lows will bottom out in the low-60s.

Rain will likely stick around, along with the humidity, for our Thursday. Storms will likely be in the mountain west of I-25, but most modeling has storms actually hugging the I-25 corridor before the push east. Some storms could produce damaging winds, heavy rain, and/or hail. While we could see some development in the evening, we will be monitoring an organized cluster of storms north of the state.
