  • Unair Emery talks to Mesut Ozil

Leicester managed to hold Arsenal to a goalless draw in the FA Cup in January 2000, but the 2015 Premier League champions have toiled since that meeting in the third round of the cup competition.

The Gunners are just two points off top spot after extending their winning run in all competitions to 10 matches in a row thanks to an excellent second-half performance against Leicester City.

It should be a cracker at the Emirates Stadium as Unai Emery's in-form side take on a Leicester team who have had their best start to a Premier League season since 2016.

Leicester were incensed from the resulting free-kick as referee Chris Kavanagh missed the ball clearly hit Holding on the hand as he cleared away from in front of Wilfried Ndidi. Mesut Ozil got the goal as he found the bottom corner with a superb finish from a Bellerin cross following a flowing move. Ben Chilwell burst down the flank past Alexandre Lacazette and behind Hector Bellerin just enough that as Bellerin hoped to recover, Chilwell's cross clipped Bellerin's foot and into the back of the net, with goalkeeper Bernd Leno already diving the wrong way to stop the cross.

Emery looked to change things around by introducing both Matteo Guendouzi and Aubameyang from the bench with an hour gone as Lichtsteiner and Mkhitaryan made way.

Here is our combined Arsenal and Leicester XI...

Ozil stroked home a Bellerin pass to level on the stroke of half time before contributing heavily to two breath-taking goals in three stunning minutes for substitute Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

It took the Gabon striker less than two minutes to make the difference, sweeping home from close-range after Ozil's flawless pass allowed Bellerin to send in a low cross.

Arsenal next travel to Lisbon to face Sporting CP in the Europa League on Thursday night, before a London derby at Crystal Palace on 28 October.
