Lakers make signing of veteran center Chandler official

"The big man - who said he picked L.A. among about five teams - joins the Lakers after having his contract bought out by Phoenix". And Chandler didn't disappoint, hauling in nine rebounds.

If his performance in Wednesday's game was any indication, Chandler could serve to be an impactful asset off the bench that could help the Lakers turn it around from their early-season struggles.

Nearly three weeks ago, Rajon Rondo and Chris Paul got into each other's face following Brandon Ingram's temper tantrum about being called for a foul.

Lebron James was again the saviour as he led the Los Angeles Lakers to a 114-110 victory over the Minnesota Timberwolves in the National Basketball Association on Thursday, November 8. This week, the team was able to make one valuable addition, signing Tyson Chandler after he was waived by the Phoenix Suns.

"Hopefully it's nothing serious", said Luke Walton. He also revealed the joy of playing with James and believes he is one of the best closers the game has ever seen while referring to his time with Mavericks legend Dirk Nowitzki.

Rondo is averaging 10.6 points, 4.8 rebounds and 7.0 assists per game and shooting 52.1 percent from the floor, 50.0 percent from the 3-point line and 75.0 percent from the charity stripe. "We got him out at the end of practice and he went in for treatment", Walton said.

If Ball is unable to play versus the Kings, Rajon Rondo will start in his place.

"I told him he needs an opt-out clause wherever he's at", James said with a smile.

"The more pressure I can take off him, it will free him up to do all the special things he has been doing his entire career".

"I've been on the other side and played the villain, now it's great to be on this side". James knows how to help facilitate and construct a roster worthy of making deep playoff runs, as evidenced by the past eight seasons.
