Georgia (11-2) dropped a spot to fifth and Ohio State (12-1) remained sixth in the selection committee's final top 25 released Sunday.

Alabama and Oklahoma will face off in the Orange Bowl in Miami Gardens, Florida, while Clemson and Notre Dame will play in the Cotton Bowl in Arlington, Texas.

Washington: After a slow start to a season of high expectations, the Huskies earned their first Rose Bowl trip in 18 years with four consecutive wins, including the Pac-12 title game.

Last season they felt slighted, this year they feel plain insulted and it would not be surprising at all to see them hang another undefeated banner at their stadium.

Prior to Saturday's SEC Championship, the Georgia Bulldogs were ranked No. 4 in the country.

The sports network said Georgia had the best strength of schedule of the three and Ohio State had the best strength of record, a statistic that measures how strong a team's record is given its schedule. The Bulldogs beat Hawaii in a 41-10 no-contest. The Bulldogs, per the FPI, were the third-best team in the country, but a 20-point loss at LSU ultimately proved too much to overcome, at least in the eyes of the Playoff committee.
