"I'm sickened as a prosecutor", she said.

The incident, which allegedly took place in May 2018, was reported by Timothy Savage to Henry County police.

Foxx's plea comes after reports that authorities in Fulton County, Georgia launched a criminal investigation into Kelly, who is alleged to have previously abused and otherwise mistreated women in an Atlanta-area home. Investigators have made contact with the family of Asante McGee and the attorney for the family of Jocelyn Savage, two of the women who were profiled in the film.

Joycelyn Savage's family has claimed she is having a sexual relationship with Kelly, and that she is being manipulated by him into cutting off contact with the outside world.

Joycelyn's father claims to have not seen his daughter in over two years, citing R. Kelly as the reason.

R. Kelly is reportedly under investigation in the state of Georgia.

Gaga has faced criticism in recent days for collaborating with the singer, especially after Surviving R. Kelly.

Griggs told FOX 5 News that in the past few days, very senior members of the DA's office have contacted Griggs regarding witness information in the case.

A Cook County State's Attorney representative said officials are "in the process of reviewing and following up on these calls".

"There is nothing that can be done to investigate these allegations without the cooperation of both victims and witnesses". It went on to say that Russell accused Savage of lying to Lifetime and said that if Savage continued to support the series, Russell and Kelly would be forced to release information that would show Savage was a liar and that would ruin him, his reputation, his business and his family.

"I was sickened by the allegations".

Foxx said that as a survivor of sexual assault herself, she was "sickened by the allegations".

The singer has long since dodged conviction, getting acquited of charges of child pornography back in 2008. "The song is called 'Do What U Want (With My Body)', I think it's clear how explicitly twisted my thinking was at the time", she added. "Allegations of domestic violence or sexual assault require someone to say what they've seen, heard or experienced".

Kelly won a Grammy in 1997 for "I Believe I Can Fly", and is known for such raunchy hits as "Bump N' Grind" and "Ignition".
