Interactive Entertainment held an event to unveil the world's first look at Mortal Kombat 11, and Ronda Rousey was announced as the voice of Sonya Blade.

- RAW Women's Champion Ronda Rousey has been confirmed as the voice of Sonya Blade in the upcoming Mortal Kombat 11 video game. Naturally, he's thrilled about Mortal Kombat 11 and he can't wait to see the cover art revealed.

The stream will be hosted on NetherRealm's official Twitch channel, which you can find down below.

The announcement came at the Mortal Kombat 11 reveal event, which Rousey attended in-person. New character Geras is a loyal servant of Kronika and is armed with powerful abilities like time manipulation.

According to Forbes, users will be able to play using at least 25 characters on Mortal Kombat 11.

Ever since Mortal Kombat 9 back in 2011, NetherRealm fighting games have all used a similar fighting system that fans have grown accustomed to over the years.

What's interesting about guest characters in Mortal Kombat, is that even though they've become rather synonymous with each other, it wasn't until the most recent MK game that they became a robust feature.

It's also been reported that the game will also include a new character named Geras, who will also have a reveal trailer at the event.

For the superfans, there's also a $99 Kollector's Edition with a steelbook case and Scorpion cowl-and-mask bust.

We know that for Shao Kahn, Raiden and Scorpion will be in the game, but tonight's event is due to show off a lot more about the game. Those who pre-order onPlayStation 4, PlayStation 4 Pro, Xbox One or Xbox One X at select retailers, will also receive access to the beta, which will be available on March 28, 2019 for those platforms.

Mortal Kombat 11 arrives as the sequel to Mortal Kombat X, which was released in 2015.
