This will be the fifth year in a row the singer shocked Grammy viewers by donning pro-Trump or fence-like garb to the red carpet.

Joy Villa opened up about being subjected to "hatred" and "racism" after hitting the 61st annual Grammy Awards red carpet sporting a bold gown inspired by President Donald Trump's campaign promises.

"Ignore it, keep preaching what I believe in and say 'Hey listen, there's a place for all beliefs.' There should be space".

The dress designer posted a disclaimer on Instagram.

The singer completed the wild look with a silver headband that resembled the one worn by the Statue of Liberty, a red MAGA purse and coiled barbed wire around her neck.

"As she has now added "#MAGA dress wearer on @foxnews" to her Twitter bio, one can't help but feel the dress may have been a publicity stunt.

This isn't the first time an artist has openly supported President Trump via fashion.

"I grew up in theater, so I've always used costume as a way to express myself", Villa said.

That year, her mermaid-style dress was red, white, and blue, and, like her purse at this year's awards show, said "Make America Great Again".

While Villa walked most of the red carpet wearing the border wall-inspired dress, she didn't arrive that way.

Villa's dress was made to look like a border wall with barbed wire and on the back of the dress was a sign that read "build the wall".

Although Villa has been nothing if not consistent in her support of the president and his policies, some were surprised to see her still wearing outfits in his honor considering in December of of 2017 she accused Trump's former campaign manager Corey Lewandowski of sexual misconduct.

"When Trump came in the picture, at first I hated him", said Villa, who attended high school in Santa Barbara and now splits her time between West Hollywood and NY, according to THR.

As part of the freaky ensemble, she also sported a barbed wire look around her shoulders.

Donald J. Trump has two big supporters at the GRAMMYs. I approach it as a show. (70% of heroin from Mexico) More illegal women getting sexually assaulted (1 in 3)? I want to "wow" people.
