  • ‘They Wanted Me To!’: R. Kelly Claims Parents Wanted Him to Have Sex with Teen Daughter

Cook County Sheriff's Office spokeswoman Sophia Ansari reported that Kelly was taken into custody Wednesday afternoon after a hearing on his child support debt.

The R&B icon made headlines on Wednesday for his riveting interview with Gayle King aired on CBS morning program where he vehemently denied the sexual abuse allegations against him. His next court date on the child support case is on March 13.

R. Kelly arrives at the Daley Center for his hearing on child support. A spokesperson for the Cook County Sheriff's Office tells The Associated Press that Kelly will be transferred to the Cook County Jail.

But Gerald Griggs, the Savages' family attorney, denied that Kelly ever gave them money and shot down his claim that her father Timothy Savage offered his daughter to him on stage during one of his concerts.

After his February 22 arrest in Chicago, Kelly spent a weekend in jail before someone posted his $100,000 bail. I need help. I need somebody to help me not have such a big heart.

At one point during the interview, Kelly angrily stood up and started pacing, his voice breaking as he yelled: 'I didn't do this stuff!

Kelly also addressed a report by BuzzFeed in 2017 that said he had kept women as virtual sex slaves at homes he owns in Chicago and Atlanta.

Kelly is charged with having sexually abused four other women years ago, including three who were underage at the time.

"All of them are lying", Kelly said "I have been assassinated".

It is safe to say that it is the most shocking part of his interview and that says a lot given the circumstances! R. Kelly was abusive to me - emotionally and physically and verbally.

Kelly has pleaded not guilty to the 10 counts of aggravated sexual abuse that he faces.

Kelly left the courtroom with his lawyers through a different door than he entered.

The young woman also said she stopped speaking to her parents because they've been causing "problems in her life" by saying Kelly is keeping her hostage.

The singer believes social media is to blame for creating the allegations against him. The couple said they haven't spoken to their 23-year-old daughter for two years and asked Kelly to make her available to talk to them.

When pressed about whether he was attracted to younger women, Kelly said: "I'm an older man who loves all women".

KELLY: That's stupid! Use your common sense.

During an explosive interview on CBS's "This Morning," R&B star R. Kelly blamed his alleged victims' parents for selling him their daughters.
